Placed above is a part of the 4 day Indo - Japanese workshop on Landslides and Disaster Management taking place in Gangtok, Sikkim.
Unfortunately, a similar initiative in a contiguous area (Darjeeling district) is nowhere on the anvil and we are likely to face the wrath of the monsoons with little or no preparedness.
